JNS: Exhibiting excellence, 9 students of DPS Bokaro were recognized for their phenomenal performance in the Common Service Centre Olympiad, an initiative by the Government of India under the banner of the Digital India Scheme. Akshat Priyadarshi (III) and Sreshtha Rupam Dwivedi (X) bagged Rank 1. They will receive a scholarship of Rs. 1800/- per month for a period of one year. Harshit Chandan and Aryaman Shaurya (III), Aarush (IV), and Subh (VIII) registered their names with Rank 2. They will receive a scholarship of Rs. 1200/- per month for a period of one year. Samiksha Gupta (IV), Arya (V), and Aradhya Singh (VIII) secured Rank 3. They will receive a scholarship of Rs. 600/- per month for a period of one year.
The exam covered topics on English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, and Cyber Security and was a great opportunity for students to show their talent at Global platform. Five Mock tests were provided to all registered students for practice before the final exam.
It is worth mentioning that CSC Olympiad is a competitive exam for students from Classes III to XII which aims to help the students to expand their horizons beyond their school books and curriculum.
Congratulating the students on their achievement, Dr. A. S. Gangwar, Principal, DPS Bokaro said, “Excellence is a habit and such exams provide platform for students to exhibit excellence. The students have once again proved that sincere and dedicated studies fetch fruitful result which they have showcased in this Olympiad as well.”
