Ashok Vishwakarma, a senior journalist elected as Convenor of the ‘Bokaro Press Club’ after the election of the Board of Director’s which was held at Bokaro Parishadan.
In the presence of election officer Professor Srikant Sinha and ex-convenor of the club Vikash Chandra Maharaj the election was held. Ashok elected among the other members of the Board of Directors of club Hareram Bharti, Arvind Sharma, Vijay Jha and Manoj Kumar along with General Secretary AK Sinha and president Krishna Choudhary, informed Sinha.
Ashok is a senior journalist having more than 17 years of working experiences, presently working at Dainik Bhaskar a leading daily Hindi newspaper at Bokaro, he said.
“The Bokaro Press Club has been a champion of working journalists and professional communicators since 2011, providing advocacy, information and service to the society”, said Ashok.
Among the newly elected executive body of Bokaro Press Club, Ak Sinha General Secretary, Vinod Ojha and Arun Patkh are Vice president, Hemant Vishwakarma and Sunil Kumar are Secretary, Piyus Rai treasurer while Ajit Kumar, Deepak Jha, Pankaj Singh, Surendra Kumar, Sujit Kumar, Jai Sinha and Sanjay Kumar are the executive members of the club.
