Accident graph on its rise at Vedanta ESL Plant; two workers were severely injured in an accident in Coke Oven at ESL at Telgaria in Bokaro. Immediately with the help of co-workers, they rushed to the hospital.
According to the eyewitnesses, Bhimsen Pandey and Vimal Pandey were felled down from a height and severely injured. Both were working at Cock Oven, suddenly they lost control and fell down.
Bhimsen and Vimal, both employees of M/s Onshore Construction Private Limited, suffered severe injuries to their hands and heads. Immediately after the incident, both were taken to the K M Memorial Hospital, where the condition of Vimal is critical, and Bhimshen is stable, hospital sources said.
Meanwhile, ESL’s PR Official said, Bhimsen and Vimal were felled down from a height at Coke Oven and got multiple injuries. “Both are under treatment, and their condition is said to be out of danger,” said the official.
