Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Patna, and Bokaro Teams Excel in CBSE Basketball Championship at DPS Bokaro

Bokaro: CBSE Cluster – III Inter-School Basketball Tournament 2024 at DPS Bokaro has featured impressive performances from teams representing Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Patna, and Bokaro. Despite disruptions from heavy rainfall, these teams maintained their strong showing on the second day of competition.

In the Under-19 Girls’ category, Army School Ranchi defeated DPS Ranchi decisively with a score of 23-04. Notre-Dame Patna triumphed over Kairali School Ranchi, winning 12-03, while DPS Gaya edged out Army Public School Ranchi 10-04. Loyola High School Patna overcame Holy Cross Bokaro with a 12-04 victory, and Radiant International School Patna narrowly defeated Tender Heart School Ranchi 02-00. Vidya Vihar Chinmaya Vidyalaya Jamshedpur dominated Sri Ayyappa Public School Bokaro, winning 29-05.

In the Under-17 Girls’ division, Lady KCM Ranchi showcased their skills with a 14-02 victory over Sri Ayyappa Public School Bokaro. Mahabodhi Tree School Gaya bested Vidya Vihar Purnia, finishing 15-08. DBMS Kadma achieved a strong 07-00 win against ARS Public School Bokaro, while Baldwin Academy Kadma defeated Baldwin Academy Patna 13-03. RMS High School Jamshedpur secured an impressive 33-13 win over Dhanbad Public School.

The Under-19 Boys’ matches saw JVM Ranchi achieve a commanding 37-14 victory over Loyola High School Patna. Tender Heart School Ranchi kept a clean slate with a 13-0 win against Radiant International School Patna. Army Public School Hazaribagh triumphed over Greater Triveni School Lohardagga with a score of 24-13, while Vidya Vikas Ranchi defeated Holy Cross Bokaro 12-02. Bridgeford Ranchi dominated Bishop Scott Patna, winning 27-04.

In the Under-17 Boys’ category, Baldwin Academy Jamshedpur defeated DPS Bokaro 32-20, and GGPS Bokaro secured a 28-10 victory against St. Mary School Masaurhi. St. Mary’s English High School Jamshedpur won 21-12 over Trinity Global School Patna, while DBMS Kadma delivered a stunning 26-0 victory against Radiant International School Patna. Other notable results included Mahabodhi Tree School Gaya defeating Lady KCR Ranchi 23-07, DY Patil Patna narrowly beating Baldwin Academy Patna 10-08, and SBPS Ranchi shutting out GD Goenka School Patna 12-0. Govind Vidyalaya Jamshedpur achieved a close 14-12 win against RKV Vidya Mandir Deoghar.

In the Under-14 Girls’ category, Vidya Vihar Residential School Purnia outperformed GGPS Bokaro 29-23, and DPS Bokaro defeated DBMS Jamshedpur 07-02. Dayawati Modi Public School Chandil won 04-0 against Chinmaya Vidyalaya Bokaro. Loyola High School Patna emerged victorious over St. Joseph School Kahalgaon (Bhagalpur) 06-03, and ODM Sapphire School Ranchi claimed an 08-06 win against DPS Bokaro. St. Mary School Masaurhi Patna delivered a commanding 20-0 victory against MLZS Jamshedpur.

In the Under-14 Boys’ matches, St. Michael’s High School Patna secured a 19-15 victory over Trinity Global School Patna. Sree Ayyappa Public School triumphed over Baldwin Academy Patna with a score of 06-00, while Bokaro Public School dominated DY Patil School Patna 29-12.
