Bokaro: Seventeen students from DPS Chas, Bokaro, have made their school and families proud with exceptional performances in the International English Olympiad (IIO) 2024-25, organized by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), New Delhi.
Aryan Agarwal, Anant Ashish, Aryan Kumar Mahato, Devanshi Kumari, Md. Sami Javed, Nisha Kumari, Paridhi Kumari, Ratan Singh, Shivansh Kalbaliya, Shivanshi Dutta, Aahan Ravani, Arfa Parveen, Shiksha Vishwakarma, Aryan Layak, and Disha Jagnani of class 1 secured third place in the state rankings. Reyansh Jha of class 4 achieved second place, while Dakshesh Goswami of class 7 topped the state with first place.
The IIO aims to identify and nurture future scientists, technologists, and IT talents at the school level.
Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan, Chief Mentor of the school, congratulated the students and encouraged them to continue their hard work. School Director Dr. Manisha Tiwari expressed pride in their achievements, noting that the remarkable results reflect the dedication of both students and teachers. She wished the students continued success in their future endeavors.
