The Year 2016 ended on a positive note with several accomplishments in the field of production and commissioning at Chandrapura Thermal Power Station (CTPS)— a unit of Damoder Valley Corporation (DVC).
‘Better performance in almost all areas of production as compared to last year’s performance, new accolades in areas of HR and furthermore involvement in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities’, said B N Sah Chief Engineer CTPS.
Highlighting the annual CSR activities Sah said, health continued to be a focus area. CTPS continued with its unique initiatives like the promotion of rural health; more than ten thousand villagers are already reaping benefits from such medical facilities under ‘Daghani’ in and around the Chandrapura area.
National Health Insurance facility was started at DVC’s hospital.

International award was also won by CTPS team in the last year. DVC Quality Circle teams ‘Chetak’ and ‘Dolphins’ wins gold medals in the international competition and it the proud moment for DVC”, added Sah.
