JNS, Ranchi: Aiming to strengthen the Volleyball games, a high-level national webinar is slotted to be held on 22 and 23 August.
The two days national webinar on Enriching Volleyball is being organized by government lead PG College, Waidhan in association with ITK India, informed Jaideep Sarkar, an Asian Silver Medal (AVC) recipient in Volleyball and presently based at Bokaro Steel City.
Jaideep is also an Executive Board Member of the Indian Pierre de Coubertin Association (IPCA) and National Council of Sports Science and Physical Education (NCSPE). He is also a City Officer of India’s first IOC supported Global Active Partner.
Besides alumni from ITK Leipzig University, Germany’s Volleyball and elite coaches, the legendary Dronacharya, Arjuna, Dhyanchand awardees would be addressed the session, he said.
During the two days session M Syamsunder Rao (Arjun and Dronacharya Awardee), Om Prakash Tanwar (Dhyanchand Awardee), Dr Dalel Singh (Arjun Awardee), Dasshinamoorty S. (International Coach, FIVB Level-3), KCS Nair (International Volleyball Expert), Balaji Prabhu, Sebastian George (Volleyball Expert), Jaideep Sarkar (International IPCA and GAC Officer), Shakti Kumar Saggar (ITK Alumni and Retired Director SAI), Dr DK Kaushal (ITK Alumni and Rtd. Chief Coach SAI), Subhash Kumar Mishra (ITK Alumni and Rtd. Chief Coach SAI), HD Krishnappa and MH Kumara (ITK Alumni and Rtd. Chief Coach SAI) will express their views.
“This webinar might be catalytic and of immense significance,” added Jaideep.
