JNS: All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee was sworn-in as the Chief Minister of West Bengal for the third consecutive term. She secured more than two third majority in the assembly elections.
Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar administered her oath of office and secrecy at a simple ceremony held at the Raj Bhavan in Kolkata on Wednesday.
Mamta Banerjee became the second woman in the country to be sworn in for three consecutive terms as Chief Minister of any State following Sheila Dixit, former Chief Minister of Delhi.
