Sindri: The Department of Metallurgical Engineering at BIT Sindri organized the second day of its annual ‘Alchemy’ paper presentation competition on December 3, offering a platform for students to showcase their innovative ideas. First-year students presented cutting-edge topics such as ‘The Role of Metals in Next Generation Battery Technology’ and ‘Metal Recovery from E-Waste’, highlighting the growing significance of Metallurgical Engineering in building a sustainable future.
The event, organized by Dr. B.N. Roy, Head of the Department, was supported by faculty members including Dr. A.K. Rajak, Dr. Sangram Hembram, Dr. Nand Kishore, Prof. Mo. Izhar Hussain, Dr. Sumit Sharma, Prof. Kriti Madhavi, Prof. Babul Das, and Prof. Monica Gautam, who made significant contributions to the event.
