Shreshtha Rupam Dwivedi a student of Class V fo Delhi Public School, Bokaro was awarded a token cheque of Rs. 51,000 for her achievement as second runners-up in the Kalpana Chawla National Scholar (KCNS) Exam 2017.
“She is amongst the youngest to have won the award in the competition, qualifying the online test and Rapid-fire round with flying colours”, said a school authority.
“KCNS Exam is conducted by Educharya to provide all categories of participants an opportunity to participate in NASA Camp, though the scholarship is being awarded to qualified 21 winners”, he added.
The team of KCNS specially visited the school to congratulate Shreshtha along with the Director and Principal the school Dr. Hemlata S Mohan. They commended the school’s efforts in identifying child prodigies and nurturing their talents to fruition. They also acknowledged the role of the teachers and the parents in the overall development of the students, said the authority.
Dr. Mohan congratulated Shreshtha on her success and wished her all the best for the future as well. Under the guidance of the teachers and with the cooperation of the parents, students like her can attain greater heights of excellence. She also suggested the students to participate in co-curricular activities for all-round development and high achievements.
