Ranchi: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL)’s quarterly Official Language Implementation Committee meeting ended Thursday. The meeting was hosted by Chairman-cum-Managing Director Nilendu Kumar Singh in CCL’s Darbhanga House’s new auditorium.
Director (Personnel) Harsh Nath Mishra, General Manager (Personnel/Official Language) Sanjay Kumar Thakur, department heads, general managers, Official Language Nodal Officers, and CCL representatives were present.
Singh stressed the need for the official language in his speech. He advised all departments to be innovative and organise internal kavi sammelans to promote Hindi. He encouraged departments to reach Hindi targets.
Mishra stated that the Rajbhasha meeting is vital to their work and that they must work together to achieve language implementation goals.
General Manager (Personnel/Official Language) Thakur welcomed everyone and described the Official Language Department’s work. He told delegates about official language activities like correspondence, note drafting, and Hindi book authoring incentives.
Departments were praised for promoting the official language at the meeting. Technical: Municipal Administration Department, Non-Technical: Shramik Shakti/Office & Office Department, and Kuju Area received awards for last quarter.
Additionally, winners of undertaking-level competitions organized under Narakas were honored with mementoes.
