An atmosphere of happiness and joy marked the ambience of the school campus in DPS, Bokaro, Primary Wing as students and teachers gathered to celebrate the season of gifts and love with jingle bells and exchanged greetings.
A special assembly was organised where the tiny tots presented various cultural presentations to mark the festival of Christmas. Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell Jingle all the way.in French language and other presentations were mesmerizing to watch. The students of Primary Wing presented a Christmas card, Tree and Santa Claus to Director & Principal, DPS, Bokaro Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan.
While addressing the gathering, Dr. Mohan showered her blessings and good wishes to everyone and said that festivals help in socializing. She added that India is a diverse nation and people from various religion come together and participate in festivals and share joy and happiness. She said that Christmas is the festival of love and brotherhood. During the assembly, the trophy- SIP Arithmetic Genius Award for excellent performance was presented to the Principal in appreciation for the outstanding performance of all the students in the SIP Arithmetic Genius All India Inter School Contest 2017.
A grand assembly to bid adieu to 2017 with Christmas carols and jingle bells was also conducted at DPS Bokaro, Senior Wing. The occasion was special with the enthralling presentation by the 1st position winners of DPS Star contest 2017. The assembly also witnessed the Prize winners of DPS Star (Senior Wing).
