Bokaro: Paying respect to all religions and acknowledging the fervour of ‘Sarvadharma’ Delhi Public School Bokaro today commemorated the rich tradition of India, whose several states celebrate their ‘New Year’ during this period almost at the same time which includes ‘Poila Baishakh’ of Bengal, ‘Bihu’ of Assam, ‘Baishkahi’ of Punjab and ‘Vishu’ of Kerala.
Calling upon the teaching fraternity, principal of DPS Bokaro, A.S Gangwar urged the teachers to teach Indian values to the students for creating a congenial environment who in turn will carry forward this rich legacy to the torch bearers of tomorrow.
“Education is incomplete without the inculcation of ethics and values of Indian society which has been the success “Mantra” of our country since Pre- Vedic period”, said Principal Gangwar while interacting with the teachers.
He expected the teachers to do their best to bring out a positive change in the students and there in society.
Among others who were present were Vice-Principals Pravin Kumar Sharma, Dr. Manisha Tiwari, Headmaster Anjani Bhushan, Headmistresses Shalini Sharma and Manisha Sharma besides senior teachers Ashok Singh, Mahua Singh and Anindita Bhadra.
