JNS: Bokaro. A workshop on New Education Policy was held at Delhi Public School Chas. The theme of the workshop was “Empowering Teachers under New Pedagogical Modules based on Change Situation”.
The workshop was organized to help the teachers understand the implications of the New Education Policy (NEP) and to equip them with the tools they need to implement it effectively in their classrooms.
Sana as a resource person discussed the key features of the new education policy, including the focus on holistic development, flexibility in curriculum design, and the use of technology in teaching.
The workshop aimed to provide teachers with an understanding of the new policy and its implications for teaching and learning. They were encouraged to adopt a learner-centric approach to teaching, which involves focusing on the needs and interests of individual students.
Chief Mentor of DPS Chas Dr Hemlata S. Mohan said that the teachers in the classroom according to NEP will be to promote and create an environment where the students can think with a creative, critical, logical and innovative mindset. “This way, teachers can prepare students to overcome obstacles and challenges,” she added.
Officiating Principal of DPS Chas Deepali Bhuskute said that the NEP 2020 is a huge stride in the right direction; it focuses on the holistic development of students by ensuring, relevance, equity, equality and strong foundational learning.
