Bokaro: ESL Steel Limited marked World Water Week 2025 with a series of impactful events focused on sustainable water management and community engagement. The week-long celebration included knowledge-sharing sessions, interactive competitions, and CSR-driven initiatives, engaging over 1,000 participants.
A key highlight was a webinar on glacier preservation, led by Rajesh Jain, Co-founder of Wapp and DigitalPaani, addressing the importance of protecting India’s glaciers and implementing sustainable water solutions.
Senior ESL leadership, including Deputy CEO Ravish Sharma and CFO Anand Dubey, participated in discussions on water optimization and environmental stewardship.
The week also featured competitions such as elocution, poster-making, and quizzes, with winners recognized for their creativity in water conservation.
Under Project Swajal, grassroots initiatives on World Water Day included awareness sessions at Budhibinor Anganwadi, where 45 SHG beneficiaries learned water-saving methods, and a drawing contest at Chandaha Drawing Centre, engaging over 50 students in creative expressions of water preservation.
