Mumbai: The highly anticipated web series Thasak, directed by Neeraj Bhardwaj, has officially dropped its first look poster, sparking excitement across social media.
Released on New Year’s Day, the poster has quickly garnered attention for its striking imagery: an enigmatic figure holding a gun, creating an air of suspense and mystery that has left fans eagerly speculating about the series’ storyline.
The poster’s dramatic reveal has generated a buzz online, with fans sharing their reactions through likes, comments, and social media posts. The intrigue surrounding the image has heightened anticipation for the upcoming series, which is set to stream on an OTT platform in the near future.
In an exclusive statement, director Neeraj Bhardwaj assured audiences that Thasak would deliver a thoroughly entertaining experience, with each episode offering a complete narrative. While the poster has piqued interest, Bhardwaj teased that the forthcoming teaser would provide more clues about the series’ plot. The official release date is expected to be announced soon.
Thasak features an impressive ensemble cast, including Deepak Shikre, Raja Kapse, Brij Gopal, Lalitesh Jha, Garima Agarwal, Harish Tyagi, Ashok Tyagi, Miss Lakshita, Gulshan Pandey, Babita Mishra, Rianshi, Priyaranjan Singh, Rajendra Chauhan, BR Babu, and Deven Jog, among others.
The series is produced by Ashok Tyagi and directed by Neeraj Bhardwaj under the banner of Gomti Art and Craft. The script is penned by Shakeel Ahmed, with Surinder Rawat serving as the Director of Photography. Saroj Mishra is credited as the executive producer, while Brajesh Sharma has composed the music, and singers Sabab Sabri and Indu Sonali provide the vocals. The series also boasts dynamic action choreography by Shahabuddin Sheikh, VFX by Omprakash and Neele, and post-production by I Focus Studio.
Neeraj Bhardwaj, known for his collaborations with filmmaker Prakash Jha, brings his experience to Thasak following a strong career marked by films and web series such as Jannat-e-Ishq, 72 Ghante, Virodhi, Kand, Kaminey, Ye Kaisa Ashram, Aghori, and Chaal. His future projects include 3R, Deal, Jab Hum Jawan Honge, and The Great Shankara.
