Bokaro: Five students from DPS Chas have made a remarkable achievement by securing top zonal ranks in the English Language Olympiad 2024-25, organized by the Silver Zone Foundation, New Delhi.
Ratan Singh, Adwit Singh, Anant Ashish, Vaibhav Kumar, and Pranav Trivedi secured zonal positions 1st to 4th in their respective class categories, showcasing their outstanding proficiency in the English language.
Ratan Singh of Class I-A emerged as the top performer, securing the first position and a prize of Rs 5000. Adwit, also from Class I-A, bagged the second position, gets Rs 2500, Anant clinched the third position and was awarded Rs 1000, while Vaibhav Kumar and Pranav Trivedi scored the fourth position, each receiving Rs 500 for their excellent performance.
In addition to these remarkable achievements, 12 other students from DPS Chas have qualified for the second level of the exam, further demonstrating the school’s academic excellence.
The International English Olympiad, conducted by the Silver Zone Foundation, is a prestigious competition aimed at enhancing English language and grammar skills for students from classes I to XII. The exam focuses on communication and practical use of the English language, with participants ranked at school, district, state, and international levels.
Dr. Hemlata S. Mohan, Chief Mentor of DPS Chas, congratulated the students, emphasizing that success is a reflection of progress toward personal goals. She praised their dedication and hard work, stating that those who give their best will always emerge victorious.
