Gionee M2017 with 7000mAh battery to launch on December 26 this year. The company has announced that Gionee M2017 will be unveiled on December 26 at an event in China. The event reportedly will be held at Haikou Mission Hills in Hainan, China, where the phone’s pricing and availability will be unveiled.
There is no official word on whether the phone will reach markets outside China.
The 7000mAh smartphone is tipped to sport metal edges on four sides with the power and volume buttons on the same – right side of the smartphone, while the back of the smartphone will have rubber-like textured finish.
With a 5.7inch (1440×2560 pixels) QHD display, the smartphone will run on a 1.9Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor paired with 6GB RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. The other highlight will be the colossal 128GB inbuilt storage of the phone.
The Gionee M2017 is expected to function on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It has a dual-SIM card slot and measures 155.2×77.6×10.6mm, weighing 230 grams.
