Dhanbad: The IIT-ISM Dhanbad Staff Recreation Club successfully held its elections for 2024, for a total of eleven posts. The election process was overseen by Dr. Laldeep Gope, Returning Officer, with Arup Mukherjee and Subhash Gope serving as Election Officers.
Indrajit Sarkar was elected as President, Uttam Kumar Vice President, General Secretary Ashish Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary Ravi Saini (elected unopposed), Sports Secretary Anup Kumar, Library Secretary Gaurav Pratap Singh (elected unopposed), and Mukesh Tiwari elected as Treasurer. Megha Kumari was unopposedly elected as Cultural Secretary of the club.
Additionally, three Executive Members were also elected unopposed: Purushottam Kumar Paul, Mihir Chandra Mandal, and Mayank Kumar Yadav.
Following the election, the newly elected office bearers were presented with certificates by the Registrar of IIT-ISM, Dhanbad, Prabodh Pandey, who also extended his best wishes to them for their new roles and responsibilities.
The Staff Recreation Club at IIT-ISM Dhanbad organizes a variety of programs and events for the employees and their families, promoting engagement and community within the institute.
