IIT-ISM hosts ‘Leadership Program’ to empowers faculty with key skills

Dhanbad: The five-day Nurturing Future Leadership Program, held under the Malviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP), concluded today with a valedictory ceremony at the MMTTC Centre, I2H Building of IIT-ISM.

The program, aimed at developing leadership skills among faculty members of higher educational institutions (HEIs), saw the participation of 18 faculty members from across the country.

The event was graced by Professor Somnath Chattopadhyay, Professor in Charge of the Online Continuing Education Programme (OCEP), and Professor Md Irfan, Coordinator of the program.

Professor Irfan highlighted the enthusiasm and passion of the participants, stating, “Their enthusiasm and passion have been instrumental in fostering a culture of leadership within the academic community.”

He also praised the resource persons for their expertise, noting, “Their expertise has helped conduct the program successfully, which was meant for aspiring leaders in the academic arena.”

He further added, “The program not only equipped participants with essential leadership skills but also instilled a sense of responsibility and purpose among them. The impact of the Nurturing Future Leadership Program extends far beyond the confines of this institution, as participants return to their respective institutions empowered to effect positive change and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.”

Professor Mrinalini Pandey, Co-coordinator of the program, expressed her gratitude to all participants, faculty members, and staff for their dedication and commitment throughout the program.
