Dhanbad: The Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, successfully inaugurated the Nurturing Future Leadership Program under the esteemed Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP).
The event was held at the FDC Conference Hall-1, i2h Building, where educators and academic leaders from prestigious institutions gathered to celebrate this new initiative aimed at developing leadership skills among educators.
The program was inaugurated by Professor Dheeraj Kumar, Deputy Director of IIT-ISM Dhanbad, who highlighted the crucial role of teacher training in shaping the future of education. In his address, Professor Kumar emphasized that leadership development programs like the Nurturing Future Leadership Program are essential for empowering educators to lead with excellence and vision in the ever-evolving educational landscape.
Professor Mrinalini Pandey, the Coordinator of the NFL Program, expressed her gratitude to all the institutions and stakeholders involved in supporting the initiative. The program has brought together educators from esteemed institutions such as BHU Varanasi, EFLU Hyderabad, University of Kashmir, Central Sanskrit University, IIT-BHU Varanasi, IIT Jodhpur, Kazi Nazrul University, Sidho-Kanho Birsa University, and Gujarat Technological University Ahmedabad, among others.
The Nurturing Future Leadership Program is a significant step in IIT-ISM Dhanbad’s commitment to enhancing educational standards and fostering future-ready leadership in the education sector. The Ministry of Education’s support through the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme has been instrumental in bringing this initiative to life.
