JNS I Chennai: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released images of Earth captured by the EOS-06 satellite, launched on 26 November 2022 by PSLV.
ISRO stated in a series of tweets that NRSC/ISRO created a global False Color Composite (FCC) mosaic from images captured by the Ocean Colour Monitor (OCM) payload on board EOS-06.
“After processing 300 GB of data, a mosaic of 2,939 photos is created showing Earth as seen from 1 to 15 February 2023 at a spatial resolution of 1 kilometre,” it said.
