JNS: In view of the rising coronavirus infection cases Jharkhand Government extended partial lockdown— “Health Safety Week” till 13 May.
This is the third constitutive time when restrictions with limits were extended. The first restriction was imposed on 22 April as “Health Safety Week” and the second was from 29 May which scheduled to end on 6 May.
The decision to extend the restrictions was taken at a meeting chaired by chief minister Hemant Soren with the State Disaster Management Authority.
During the period, the shops are open till 2 pm and people are allowed to travel till 3 pm.
It is prohibited to all indoor and outdoor gatherings of more than 5 people, except for marriages with a cap of 50 people and for the last rites of up to 30 people.
All training and coaching centres are closed and all exams postponed.
Cinema halls, multiplexes, stadiums, gymnasiums, swimming pools and parks would remain closed.
Agriculture, industry and mining activities would be in function.
Religious places are open, but devotees are permitted in fixed numbers.
Essential services and emergency services shall be exempt.
