Ranchi: Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Satish Chandra Dubey visited Ranchi to oversee key developments in the region. During his visit, he chaired a review meeting with Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) and Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL). The meeting was attended by Nilendu Kr Singh, CMD of CCL, Manoj Kumar, CMD of CMPDIL, and other senior officials.
The Minister praised CCL’s performance and issued directives to further enhance the company’s operations. Following the meeting, Dubey inaugurated a 20 MW solar power plant in the Piparwar area of CCL. This new facility marks a significant boost to the region’s renewable energy capacity and underscores CCL’s commitment to sustainable energy practices.
Additionally, Dubey paid homage to Bhagwan Birsa Munda by garlanding his statue at Birsa Chowk, a notable landmark in Ranchi. His visit highlighted the critical role of CCL in regional development and its efforts towards meeting the nation’s energy needs through sustainable practices.
