JNS: Nepal Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba rushed to India on a three-day visit. At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Deuba arrived to New Delhi accompanied by his wife Dr. Arzu Deuba and a high-level delegation on Friday.
“This is his first bilateral visit abroad after assuming office in July last year,” tweeted Arindam Bagchi, spokesperson of the External Affairs Ministry.
Deuba will call on Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and hold talks with Prime Minister Modi tomorrow. External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will also call on the Prime Minister of Nepal. Besides official engagements in New Delhi, Deuba will visit Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
Tomorrow, Deuba will meet with Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the situation in Nepal. There will also be a meeting between Dr. S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
Deuba will also visit Varanasi, official sources said.
