Nitish Kumar today passed the floor test in Bihar assembly even as JDU-BJP alliance returned to power in the state after 4 years. While 131 votes were cast in favour of Kumar, 108 went against him. Notably, to obtain majority in the 243-member Bihar Assembly, the JD(U)-BJP alliance needs the support of 122 legislators. Earlier, ahead of the trust vote, Tejashwi Yadav was elected as the Leader of the Opposition.
