Bokaro: Vedic Awareness Camp Concludes at DAV Public School Bokaro, Principal Urges Parents to Encourage Vedic Learning
The two-day Vedic Awareness Camp at DAV Public School, Sector 6, Bokaro, concluded on Thursday, December 26, 2024, with participation from teachers, parents, and students. The event featured Vedic mantras recited by children during a Havan Yagya, followed by a Bhajan Sandhya presented by music teacher Akhilesh Kumar Mishra. A special ‘Panchkundiya Havan’ Yagya was conducted on the second day, with parents and Principal Anuradha Singh hosting the ceremony alongside Sanskrit Acharya Balshekhar Jha and NK Shastri.
In her address, Principal Anuradha Singh emphasized the importance of Vedic teachings, stating that the Vedas are the foundation of Indian culture and civilization. She encouraged parents to teach their children the value of the Vedas and to support them in regularly reciting Vedic shlokas.
The closing ceremony was attended by several teachers, parents, and school staff, who praised the initiative and its contribution to fostering cultural awareness.
