PM Modi: Dream of Developed India Impossible Without Empowering Tribal Communities

Hazaribagh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various projects worth over Rs 83,300 crore, emphasizing the empowerment of tribal communities during a day-long visit to Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, on Wednesday. Key among these projects is the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, with an outlay of over Rs 79,150 crore, along with initiatives under the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN).

The Prime Minister also inaugurated 40 Eklavya schools and laid the foundation for 25 more.

Addressing the gathering at Vinoba Bhave University, PM Modi highlighted that these projects would significantly enhance rural infrastructure and uplift tribal communities across Jharkhand. He stressed that the dream of a developed India cannot be realized without empowering the country’s tribal populations. The initiatives, he said, will benefit over five crore tribal people, marking a major step towards tribal welfare, which remains a top priority for the government.

The Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan, PM Modi noted, is a crucial effort aimed at the holistic development of tribal villages, promising transformative changes to the region’s socio-economic landscape.

Criticizing the JMM-Congress-RJD alliance government, the PM accused them of corruption, supporting Bangladeshi infiltrators, and facilitating paper leaks.

Addressing a large crowd at the ‘Parivartan rally,’ Modi claimed that the ruling alliance is the biggest obstacle to Jharkhand’s progress. He remarked that the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has transformed, saying, “This is not the same JMM. The Congress ecosystem has taken over, changing its language and character, and now even trying to alter the very soul of Jharkhand. JMM and Congress are focused on a series of scams in the state.”

Modi emphasized that while the central government is tirelessly working for Jharkhand’s development, the state government is deliberately hindering those efforts.
