Bokaro: Exhibiting exceptional scientific acumen, six students of DPS Bokaro qualified for the National Level VVM 2021- jointly organized by Vijnana Bharati, NCERT and Vigyan Prasar. They are among the 12 from the state of Jharkhand, the school authority informed.
Around fifty percent of students from Jharkhand qualified for the prestigious Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2021 are from DPS Bokaro, said the authority.
The students of DPS Bokaro who have made it to the nationals of VVM are Class VII – Yasharth Gautam, State Rank I, Kumar Anmol State Rank II. Aryan Kumar (Class VIII) secured State Rank I. Shigra (Class IX) got State Rank II. Rishi Divyakirti (Class XI) secured State Rank I while Anshu Priya (Class XI) bagged State Rank II in the exam. However, Shreshtha Rupam Dwivedi (Class VIII) has secured State Rank III.
The other students of the state who made it to the finals are Shubham Jha and Shreyam Jha of DPS Ranchi, Adarsh Kumar Singh of DPS Kenduadih, Dhanbad, Arnav Mishra of DAV Hazaribagh, and Shriya Mondal of Vidya Bharati Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Jamshedpur.
The top two winners at the State Level thus qualified for Nationals and were awarded a cash prize, trophy, certificate, and a medal. Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is a national programme with the objective to identify keen knowledge seekers in Science and then nurture them for a higher level of science education. VVM examination includes Written Test, Observational Analysis of Video Clips, Situation Problem Solving and Hands-on Activities.
