Teachers Honored at Vibrant Guru Utsav Celebration

Bokaro: The Saptarishi Auditorium of Chinmaya Vidyalaya was abuzz with excitement as the school celebrated Teachers’ Day, known as Guru Utsav, with grandeur and enthusiasm. The event was marked by a series of cultural performances organized by teachers themselves, showcasing their talents and dedication.

Chief guest Acharya Swamini Sanyuktananda Saraswati, along with school president Vishwarup Mukhopadhyay, treasurer R.N. Mallik, Principal Suraj Sharma, and Vice Principal Narmendra Kumar, attended the festivities, offering their encouragement and honoring the teachers. The program commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp.

The Guru Utsav celebration featured an array of cultural programs performed by the teachers. Highlights included captivating performances by Rinki Pandey, Nisha Sharma’s team, Deepti Pareek, Suman Saurabh, Vishal Bansal, and Spandita, who delighted the audience with their acts. Various class groups presented folk dances and theatrical pieces, adding to the festive atmosphere.

A notable performance by Rally Priyadarshi and his team depicted the discipline and affection between teachers and students through a short play. Meanwhile, Komal Puneet Doshi, Rupali Srivastava, Renu Shah, and Kumari Nisha performed a lively Rajasthani folk dance that had everyone joining in. The drama teamwork, organized by Sanjeev Singh, Supriya Chaudhary, Rajneesh Chaudhary, Ran Vijay Ojha, Nitesh, Praveen, Ravi Shankar, Anjani, Ragini, and Lalita, received enthusiastic applause for their engaging act.

In her address, Acharya Swamini Sanyuktananda Saraswati praised the invaluable work of teachers, highlighting their role in shaping society. She emphasized that the contributions of teachers are unmatched, as they impart essential life skills and values that enable individuals to face challenges and become well-rounded, educated persons.

The event also saw the recognition of outstanding teachers and staff for their exceptional contributions during the 2023-2024 sessions. Certificates were presented by Acharya Swamini Sanyuktananda Saraswati, Vishwarup Mukhopadhyay, R.N. Mallik, and Suraj Sharma.
