Washington: U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has selected former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle as the next U.S. Ambassador to Greece. Guilfoyle, who is engaged to Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., brings a wealth of experience in law, media, and politics.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump expressed his pleasure in announcing her appointment, calling her a long-time friend and ally. He highlighted her leadership, intellect, and broad experience as qualifications that make her well-suited to represent the United States and protect its interests internationally.
Trump further stated that Guilfoyle’s skills will be key to strengthening U.S.-Greece relations.
Alongside this announcement, Trump named his longtime associate, Tom Barrack, as U.S. Ambassador to Turkey. Barrack, a respected figure with decades of experience managing a global private equity firm, was described by Trump as a knowledgeable and trusted advisor, ideal for fostering diplomatic ties with Turkey.
