JNS: Tragic news struck on Sunday as a section of an under-construction bridge spanning the majestic river Ganga between Aguvanighat and Sultanganj in Bihar collapsed.
Bihar Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, has taken swift action by ordering a thorough investigation into the incident. He has directed the authorities to identify the culprits and ensure they are held accountable for their actions. The Chief Minister has clarified that strict action will be taken against those found guilty.
As of now, there have been no reported casualties or injuries.
Bhagalpur SDO Dhananjay Kumar said, “We have received information about the collapse of pillar and segment.”
“This related to what happened with Parvatta. We have discussed the matter with the engineers who are working on the building of the bridge. There have been no reports of casualties or damage to property,” he added.
