University of Birmingham Dubai Opens Applications for BSc Psychology Program

Dubai: The University of Birmingham Dubai has announced the opening of applications for its Bachelor of Science in Psychology program, inviting students from India to apply for the September 2024 intake.

The BSc Psychology program at the Dubai campus offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers a wide array of modern psychological theories and applications. Students will delve into topics such as social psychology, human neuroscience, psychopharmacology, and child development. The program is designed to explore the full spectrum of human behaviors and cognitive processes, from fundamental activities like feeding to complex skills such as language and social interactions.

Structured into a modular format, the program begins with foundational modules in psychology and research methods during the first two years. The final year features advanced specialist modules, providing cutting-edge insights into selected areas of psychology. The curriculum includes a mix of seminars, lectures, small group tutorials, and peer group learning, ensuring a dynamic and interactive educational experience.

Applications for the program are open until September 2024, with no application fee required. Prospective students must have achieved between 75% and 85% in their Standard 12 CBSE examinations. The annual tuition fee for the 2024 entry is AED 126,309 (approximately USD 35,000), with the option to pay in installments.

The university is also offering scholarships of up to 30% based on academic performance, which can be carried through the entire program, including foundation, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels.
