JNS: United States is the largest export market for India, while the United Arab Emirates is the second one, revealed the government data. According to the Ministry of Commerce, India, the US and the UAE remained first and second in this category in 2022-23.
Yearly figures were issued two weeks following the new year. They revealed that India’s exports of goods and services climbed six per cent in the fiscal year that ended last month.
During this time, the Netherlands replaced China in third place. The Netherlands’ highest refinery output last year made it essential.
“The UAE was India’s second-largest export destination after the US. UAE imports were third in India last month, behind China and Russia. Saudi Arabia was India’s only GCC export and import destination. The Kingdom imported sixth and exported eighth from India,” reveals the data released by the ministry after March concluded this year.
