JNS: Australia is set to become the home of the world’s tallest Ram temple, with plans for its construction confirmed. The grand temple, standing 721 feet tall and spanning five floors, will be built on a sprawling 150-acre site. The Bhoomi Pujan (ground-breaking ceremony) for the temple is expected to take place in 2025, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi likely to lead the ceremonial event.
The design of the temple will be crafted by renowned architect Ashish Sompura, who also designed the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Sompura, based in Gujarat, is known for his work on several monumental temples across India, and his expertise will ensure that the Australian temple mirrors the grandeur of its Indian counterpart.
In addition to the temple, the complex will feature several other significant structures, including a 101-foot statue of Lord Hanuman along the Ram Mandir Marg and a 51-foot statue of Lord Shiva to be installed in the Saptkhagar area. Plans also include the construction of Ayodhyapuri, a residential complex, and Sanatan University, which will focus on religious and cultural education.
The Ram Temple in Australia will be constructed under the aegis of the Shri Ram Temple Foundation, which is overseeing the development of this monumental project.
